Wine pairing and service: Our dry Vouvray wine goes well with all fishes, shellfish (especially oysters) and seafood, as well as mixed salads, barbecues (fish or grilled white meats) and delicatessen products. They are also perfect as an aperitif. Serve between 10°C and 11°C.
Aging: to be enjoyed young or kept for 5 to 7 years, according to your taste.

Vouvray Tendre
Vintages available: 2018, 2020.
Wine pairing and service: Our Vouvray Tendre goes well with a slice of rillette de Tours, a quiche lorraine or tourangelle, a puff pastry of black pudding with apples, white meat with a curry or saffron cream sauce, goat cheese, or Asian and Creole cuisine. Serve between 10°C and 11°C
Aging: To be enjoyed young if you want to keep a slight liveliness, or to be kept for 10 to 15 years.

Vouvray Doux Cuvée Aurélie
Vintages available: 2003, 2005, 2009, 2011, 2015, 2018.
Wine pairing and service: Our Vouvray Cuvée Aurélie can be enjoyed as an aperitif, with foie gras, blue cheeses, a fruit dessert (strawberry gateau, framboisier cake, exotic fruits) or a fresh fruits salad, as well as with a creamy Mont d'Or cheese, some japanese yakitoris or a tajine with dried apricots. You will also appreciate them as a digestive, tasted with a piece of dark chocolate. Serve between 9°C and 10°C.
Aging: To be enjoyed young or mature, our Cuvée Aurélie have been aged for more than 20 years.

Vineyard visits
With enthousiasm, we warmly welcome visitors in our vineyard since ever.
Through a serie of activities we offer, you will discover our Chenin and Grolleau vines, the cellars dug in tuffeau stone, as well as our wine cellar and its characteristic 600-liter barrels and large stainless steel tanks. Needless to say that you will also taste several products of our winery, including the wines that have won the most awards and competitions.

Our visits and activities
Accompanied Visit
Follow the guide : we will take you through part of the Domaine du Viking vineyard to the white tuffeau cellar, where you will discover our sleeping wine bottles and learn everything you need to know about our winery. We will then return to the wine storehouse and explain the different steps involved in wine-making, from grape harvest to bottling. The visit will end with the tasting of three wines that reflect the various aspects of the Vouvray AOC (Protected Designation of Origin). At the end of the visit, you will have the opportunity to buy the estate's wines by visiting our wine shop.
Length of the visit : 1 hour
Price ans conditions : €12 per person, free for children under 18 years old. Available for 2 to 6 persons. Reservation according to available places.

Tasting Le Vouvray with cheeses, a perfect match !
Discover the 4 Vouvray wines (fine bubbles, dry white, semi-dry white and sweet white), served with different cheeses from the area or elsewhere ! At the end of the visit, you will have the opportunity to buy the estate's wines by visiting our wine shop.
Length of the visit : 30 minutes
Price and conditions : €20 per person, restricted to people over 18 years old (Your children can enjoy our kid's playing place while waiting for you). Available for at least 2 adults. Reservation 2 days in advance minimum.

SPECIAL GROUP GOURMET TOUR
Discover the Domaine du Viking vineyard during this gourmet oenological experience ! We will start with a walk in the vineyards of the estate* where we will present the history of the estate, the characteristics of our terroir and our grape varieties, as well as the work in progress in the vineyard. Then, we will show you around our vinification and aging cellar where we will explain the process of making our wines. Finally, you will enjoy a commented tasting of 4 emblematic wines of the estate accompanied by an assortment of local products (charcuterie from Tours; cheeses; sweet bites...). At the end of the visit, you will have the opportunity to buy the estate's wines, ending with a visit to our wine shop.
*: no need to take out your hiking shoes, and the stroller or wheelchair can come too, on the other hand there is a steep slope on a small stretch.

TASTING STROLL AMONG THE SWEET WINES
Taste our 8 sweet vintages, served with sweet and savoury appetizers, and travel back in time from 2015 to 1989. You will discover the incredible taste and the subtle complexity of the sweet Vouvray wines. At the end of the visit, you will have the opportunity to buy the estate's wines by visiting our wine shop.
